Deixa Ela is a 5-episode documentary series that portrays the presence of sexism in various areas of soccer, whether in how the media portrays female athletes, the wage and opportunity gap, or everyday experiences. Journalists, players, referees, fans, and coaches share their experiences of aggression, harassment, and misogyny, but also moments of success and resilience in their fields. They are stories of women passionate about sports who pave the way for other women, such as the national women's team coach Pia Sundhage, players Cristiane Rozeira and Letícia Izidoro, and referee Édina Alves. #DeixaEla shows that despite prejudice, women do not step back and increasingly make their presence felt on the fields, stadiums, and stands.
